My story is a persuasive writing piece. Persuasive writing is used to persuade someone into doing something so that you can start doing that thing or keep doing it.

A rhetorical question is a question that is not supposed to be answered Eg: Do you want to be unfit?

A Simile is a thing we use to compare two things like and as Eg: He was red like a tomato.

Super Sports!

Everybody knows that physical education in schools should be kept how it is because most kids do sports to get fit or to have fun. Sports also help with communication. It’s good for the human body, making you nice and healthy.  What’s your favourite sport?

Everybody knows that sports in school should stay the same because most kids do sports to get fit or to have fun. Kids who don’t play sports usually get chubby and fat and they sit inside most of the day. Taking this away will make kids unfit or bored because they never get a break from learning all day. Do you like learning?  

Playing sports teaches kids to use communication. It teaches kids to learn how to be in a team and learn all different skills while also playing a game. It teaches them to use skills while concentrating on a sports game.

Sports and exercise are really helpful for the human body. It strengthens and exercises your muscles to make them strong like concrete and it gives you a reason to go outside. Also, being outside in the sun makes you happier and gives you more energy because the sun gives you vitamin D. 

So in conclusion sports are good for the body, they teach you communication and skills and they get you healthy and fit.
So when are you joining a sports team?

 

Today in math I did a math sheet there were 100 questions and I got 70% out of 100% in 10 minutes. My goal next time is to get over 80% and in less than 5 minutes. On the math sheet was just division questions the hardest questions  for me was 63 dived by 7  because I’m not that good with division. But i picked the easiest questions first  then the hard one after.

 

 

On Tuesday 13th of February my class is walking to Spencer park for an overnight camp. The goals I would like to achieve are R for Resilience by not giving up to eat a huhu grub then I for integrity by going to bed at the right time and not being loud and waking up people. S for success by completing the 8 km walk there and back while carrying all my equipment.And E for empathy by being positive and encouraging others when we are walking to Spencer park.

This year i moved to be a year 7 and to be a senior. Some of the highlights of my year is going to koru games,camp,ski trip and playing touch/rugby. I’ve had way more fun in Tangaroa than Tane Mahuta. At the start of the year i was worried about coming into Tangaroa because i thought there was harder work and harder to make friends but by half way through the year i realized it was pretty easy to make friends and the work wasn’t that harder. The work was a bit hard but we got to play dodge ball at the end of the week as motivation. I’ve learned how to do lots of stuff in Tangaroa like how to play touch/rugby,dodge ball,volleyball and how to ski properly. My goals for next year is to get fit, muscles/strong, lose some weight by working out and eating healthy another one of goals is to get wavy/curly hair i can complete this getting product for my hair and getting a different haircut. For high school i am thinking about going to ST Bedes because its close to my house and I’ve heard that its a pretty good school. When i leave school i wanna go to the army and stay in the army till retirement.

 

This term i have been learning about natural cleaning products.

One thing i found out is that every cleaning product that we looked at wasn’t natural. Because of this i have decided to make a natural cleaning product.

i made with lemon juice and olive oil this made and weird green polisher for furniture.

Last week in inquiry we looked at ingredients in the ajax spray.

The ingredients in it is Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulphonate, Alcohols C10-12, Ethoxylated, Phosphoric Acid Acidic, Lactic Acid, and Propylene Glycol N-Butyl Ether.  Phosphoric Acid Acidic is harmful when used incorrectly or in large amounts and Alcohols C10-12 Ethoxylated is harmful.

Wendy Warrior fell into the map. She found a chest and opened it, but nothing came out. She was confused but went for a new chest, she got mad which was not like her. Her blonde hair was bright as the sun, her muscles as hard as a rock.  The city she fell into was called Tilted Towers. It was big and most days it was sunny, but there was a problem.

 

 All the chests had been cursed by a witch, so there was no loot in them. There was no way of getting guns and someone already stole all the guns on the ground. Wendy Warrior had been told by Red Knight that a witch did all of this, Wendy was frustrated! Then, she heard BANG! BANG! BANG! and people building. 

 

She went to see the noises and saw her teammates getting rushed by a squad. She had no guns, but she thought of a plan. She waited until her teammates got them lower, then ran up and pickaxed them. She killed two and realized they would keep coming. 

She started to get mats and built them while running away. She ended up in Pleasant Park where she found the witch in the middle of the soccer field. She saw the witch and had a big build battle with her. Wendy Warrior ended up killing her and the curse was broken. All the guns dropped out of her, her teammates were so happy and went on to play the rest of the game.

 

 

 

i have being learning about similes, alliteration and words like bang!, boom!, pow!, zoom! and many more but i have used all of these in my story there is similes at the start like Her blonde hair was bright as the sun is one and her muscles as hard as a rock. Similes is where its like something else. Alliteration is like rhyming stuff like Wendy Warrior and Pleasant Park. Then i have used the bang! word is my story: Wendy was frustrated! Then, she heard BANG! BANG! BANG! and people building. 

When we do work we have to do note taking before we start the work my favorite note taking is mind map because it was clear and easy and i find it fun and clear. There are also bullet points, highlights, mind maps and pictures.
